To achieve the high sugar content we rely on to create our distinct flavors, we achieve through the Arizona sun. The climate and the soil are referred to as the terroir, which sums up the environment of the vines. Here in Arizona the arid conditions hinder the development of molds and fungus on the vines and the bright sun and cloudless skies over AZ provide more than enough to feed the vines and drive sugar in to the high twenties on the Brix meter.

 

 

In the higher elevations of the vineyard we are growing Syrah and Merlot, and the lower portions are home to Zinfandel and Chardonnay. We currently have approximately 4,000 vines planted. We produce full bodied, flavorful reds, and lean whites in small batches giving individual attention to every barrel. We produced 750+ cases in 2008 and our goal for 2009 is 1,000+ cases. At the moment about 4 acres are planted and we are expecting more year by year.

 

Every year the stock in the vineyard matures, elevating their quality and the production level, and allowing us to create a perfect Arizona Wine.

 

Our tasting room is now open 7 Days. Come and relax in our country setting with outstanding wines and excellent gourmet cheese plates. We have a large selection of wine related merchandise and we hope to have our wines in several retail outlets by the end of 2009.
