Located in beautiful Northern Arizona, the Verde Valley Wine Trail invites wine enthusiasts to experience a destination rich in history, beauty, and the production of exquisite wines.  There are four wineries and two tasting rooms on the Verde Valley Wine Trail that offer a variety of skillfully crafted wines to satisfy any wine taster’s pallet.  Whether you like Syrah, Petite Sirah, Viognier, Rousanne, Zinfandel, Merlot, Chardonnay, just to name a few, you can find great selections in the Verde Valley wineries.  Every winery has its own unique personality and distinct wines for visitors to discover at each stop along the Wine Trail.

The Wine Trail connects the dots between the communities of Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, Jerome and the beautiful red rock landscape and canyons that USA Today says is the most beautiful place in America.

Cottonwood

Located in the ‘heart’ of  the Verde Valley Cottonwood is ideally situated above the heat of the desert and below the cold of Arizona’s high country. Cottonwood is surrounded by jagged mountains on the south and west, and to the north and east by mesas and buttes. Named for the beautiful Cottonwood trees that grow along the Verde River, the town grew from a small farming community to the Verde Valley's population center called, “the biggest little town in Arizona.” Situated in the center of the Verde Valley, Cottonwood is the ideal spot to stay while visiting other area attractions.

Located just minutes from Sedona, Jerome and Clarkdale, Old Town Cottonwood is near the Verde River offering a variety of recreational activities that include camping, picnicking, horseback riding and fishing.   The Verde Valley provides a spectrum of activities to please everyone including state parks, historic sites and enticing attractions.

The small town of Cottonwood is a quiet community with convenient shopping, hotels, restaurants, and a picturesque Historic Old Town, complete with high sidewalks and false fronted buildings that lend to the old west atmosphere.
