Get to Know the Artist - Janis Mock-Jones

A graduate of the University of Denver, Janis Mock-Jones spent many years experimenting with various art media and techniques. In 2003, she seized an opportunity to become a full time artist in Sedona after a successful corporate career with The Washington Post Companies. She is currently focusing her talents on painting and photography, although she still designs affordable handcrafted jewelry using natural stones, pewter and PMC, and original stained glass windows. Her experimentation with acrylic painting and other media is an exciting journey.
Ms. Mock-Jones was born and raised in Montana and lived in California and Colorado before settling down in Arizona.
