Come and celebrate Wine and Art all in the name of a Good Cause! The Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce presents a unique public art exhibit: Painted Barrels on the Verde Valley Wine Trail!
Wine barrels turned into canvases
have been painted and sprinkled all over Cottonwood and the Verde Valley to celebrate the Verde Valley's wineindustry and its local artists!
Forty Wine Barrels are on display in wineries, tasting rooms, and businesses. See the barrels! All are amazingly creative with whimsical designs that really show off the beauty of the Cottonwood, Sedona area.
The Painted Barrels are one more reason to connect with the Verde Valley Wine Trail while you are enjoying the Cottonwood/Sedona Red Rock Country.

Artist DaysConnect with the Artists! Each artist will be participating in Artist Days where they will be at the business where their barrel is at and they will be working on and selling their art on those specified days. Make sure to check our Artist Days Page for scheduled Artist Days!
At the end of the exhibit all of the Painted Barrels will be auctioned off in an online auction. Barrels will start at $100 and will be sold to the highest bidder. Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Yavapai College Viticulture Program located right in Cottonwood. The program started in fall 2009, and is the first Viticulture program in Arizona- it has been modeled after some of the best programs in California. This summer Yavapai College planted their first acre of vineyards to assist in the education of their students.
