Painted Barrels on the Verde Valley Wine Trail
Come and celebrate Wine and Art all in the name of a Good Cause! The Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce presents the second phase of the unique public art exhibit: Painted Barrels on the Verde Valley Wine Trail! The first Painted Barrels were placed throughout the Verde Valley in the fall of 2010. Over 40 wine barrels were painted by local artists (see previous barrels) and these barrels now have new homes. The Painted Barrels were auctioned in May 2012 and $8,000 was contributed to Yavapai College to support the Viticulture program.
Now 40 new wine barrels turned into canvases are being painted and sprinkled all over Cottonwood and the Verde Valley 
to celebrate the Verde Valley's wine industry and its local artists. Join in the fun of touring the Wine Trail, win Painted Barrel Prizes on Facebook, and join a Wine pARTy.
See previous barrels! All are amazingly creative with whimsical designs that really show off the beauty of the Cottonwood and Sedona areas.
The Painted Barrels are one more reason to connect with the Verde Valley Wine Trail while you are enjoying the Cottonwood/Sedona Red Rock Country.
