Ever since I was a kid I was always into art. It all started growing up in Massachusetts, in a small town by a lake. Surrounded by nature and an artistic family, I was inspired to start my first sketchbook and my artistic journey began.
I couldn't stop illustrating in my sketchbooks and I thrived in my art classes. When I was
old enough to make a decision to further my art skills, I chose to attend a trade high
school that supported my artistic career goals. After high school, I attended Massasoit
Community College where I concentrated on graphic design and illustration. I graduated
with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design and took a couple years off. Eventually, I
felt the pull to go back to school and applied to the Massachusetts College of Art. I was
accepted to the college and entered their Illustration Program. I graduated in 2002 with
a BFA in Illustration.
After graduation, I traveled to the southwest and landed in Arizona. For the past 8 years
I've been living in the Verde Valley and am currently work full-time as a graphic designer
and illustrator. A few years ago, I decided to focus on fine art painting and began this
series, WONDERLAND.
Painting has personally and artistically pushed my imaginative boundaries. My focus
on fine art has helped me on a very deep level to be more intuitive. I find the more
I paint, the more I dream up visions of new paintings.
I continue to stretch myself artistically and create what I hope are beautiful and inspiring
pieces. I have fun approaching each new project and series with an unconventional and
unique style. I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them.
