Oak Creek Vineyards

 

Oak Creek opend in 2002. They use the Arizona sun to achieve the high sugar content they rely on to create their distinct flavors. In Arizona the arid conditions hinder the development of molds and fungus on the vines and the bright sun and cloudless skies over AZ provide more than enough to feed the vines and drive sugar in to the high twenties on the Brix meter.

 

Oak Creek grow Syrah and Merlot on the higher elevations of their vineyards, and the lower portions are home to Zinfandel and Chardonnay. Currently they have approximately 4,000 vines planted on 4 acres. Each year more vines are planted!

 

The wines Oak Creek makes are full bodied, flavorful reds, and lean whites in small batches giving individual attention to every barrel. Each year they are making more wine, in the 2009 year they produced 1,000+ cases.

 

Every year the stock in the vineyard matures, elevating their quality and the production level, and allowing them to create a perfect Arizona Wine.

 

Oak Creek's tasting room is open 7 Days a week. Come and relax in their country setting with outstanding wines and excellent gourmet cheese plates. Their tasting room offers a large selection of wine related merchandise.
