Javelina Leap is located minutes outside of Sedona, Arizona in a small historic valley named Page Springs. The tasting room, winery & vineyard are located on the slopes of a volcanic mountain, overlooking the lush greenbelt of Oak Creek.  The entrance is located directly across from the Arizona State Fish Hatchery and Audubon Bird Sanctuary.  Look for the green building and split rail fence.

Vineyard the loyal watch dog

Javelina Leap prides its self on their bold full body reds! They grow Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah, and Zinfindale. In 2009 Javelina Leap won the Wholefoods Consumer Choice Award. They will enter another one of their wines in the 2010 competition!

When you visit Javelina Leap you will be greated by their HUGE Mastiff "Vineyard." He is their loyal vineyard watch dog, and loves when visitors come to visit! Be careful or you might get a nice slobery kiss!

Javelina Leap Vineyard

The Page Springs Valley where Javelina Leap Vineyard & Winery is located was named for the Page family who farmed the area at the turn of the century and also for the abundance of artesian springs.   This booming mining town was once said to be the “badest” town in the west, complete with Victorian fashions from Paris to brothels and saloons.  To commemorate this special historic time Cynthia Snapp (also known as Mrs. Javelina Leap) designed the Javelina Leap tasting room after an old saloon with copper ceiling & oak bar.
